Mar Menor is a shallow lagoon bay, excellent for water sports enthusiasts with warmer water and no waves. From the port in San Pedro del Pinatar, you can hire a water taxi for €5 and sail to the La Manga peninsula, to the famous "Costa Calida" water sports center. There, you can enjoy activities such as water skiing, wakeboarding, diving, snorkeling, windsurfing, and many others. Large beaches surrounded by restaurants and bars are available for use. You can also walk from the bay to La Manga along a beautiful promenade that connects the Mar Menor bay with this peninsula, eliminating the need for a car for about 40 km.
